WHAT THEY SAY
Hansel & Gretel are in the depths of magical woodland but desperate to find their way home. From stones to crumbs, can they follow their trail or will they be side-tracked by the allure of that sticky, sweet home in the woods? And what about the little old lady within? She seems positively lovely…
This Summer, Cscape turn the twisting pathways at The Lost Gardens of Heligan in to an evening of story-telling, dance, music, design and installation. Join them on an immersive journey through the gardens. Prepare for darkness, light, magic and wonder… and maybe even a few ‘sweeties’ along the way!
WHAT WE SAY
Cscape are Cornwall’s leading outdoor, promenade dance company, creating performances for all the family. This will be a magical, exciting, dark, beautiful, warm, funny and highly engaging show. It’s also the very first dance performance in The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Don’t miss out!
A delicious feast will be available in Heligan’s new outdoor eatery from 5pm, all of it delectable street food, the perfect start to a spectacular night. Specially created Heligan cocktails, cold beer and other cool refreshments are also available to make sure you won’t go thirsty as you follow Hansel and Gretel though the Lost Gardens.
As you will be adventuring around the Gardens, we recommend comfortable footwear and wellies if it’s been a rainy day, come prepared for the weather. The route is completely accessible and should be no problem for Wheelchair users and buggy’s. Whilst this is a true adventure through and around the magical Gardens, there will be moments where you can sit back and relax while the story unfolds in front of you. Hay bales, cushions and chairs will be available.
