A Pinch of SALT

March 6, 2017

As promised, we have more information on A Pinch of SALT, the first of our small scale programmes in partnership with a number of local companies and venues in Cornwall.

First up, the return of Shoreline from Simon Birch Dance. Shoreline wowed audiences across Cornwall last Summer and returns to Watergate Bay this year, before visiting two new beaches, Praa Sands and Porthmeor Beach, St Ives, will also play host to this beautiful show. Tickets are paid on a Pay What You Can basis, which literally means, you pay what you can, into our hot pink buckets that will be on site at the end of the show. For a reminder of what’s in store, check out this short clip…

Then, we have something pretty impressive from renowned Aerial Theatre Company, Ockhams Razor. Tipping point will be presented in our first partnership with The Royal Cornwall Showground over 3 nights, 4 performances of this visual spectacular. It’s great for all the family and tickets will include a family pass. Here’s a hint of what’s in store!

Finally, as far as the Summer’s concerned, we are super excited to be working with Cscape Dance Company and The Lost Gardens of Heligan to present a promenade performance of Hansel & Gretel. Taking in the winding pathways, Cornwall’s leading landscape dance and theatre company invites you to enjoy some of the light, dark and sweetness of this age old fairytale. There’s no sneak peaks on this one, it’s a brand new show… unless you count the photo that goes with this news story! Now that’s a pretty special picture, no? All credit to Cscape and Steve Tanner!

A Pinch of SALT will continue later in the year, but this gives you a taster of the plans afoot. Tickets, for those ticketed events, will go on sale soon. We can’t wait to see you over the Summer! If you want to be amongt the first to hear, sign up on the Stay In Touch tab below!
