WHAT THEY SAY
It’s Christmas 1941. The people of Prideaux Place are preparing for a party…
Blown in on icy winds, a robin heralds the arrival of a mysterious visitor. A visitor who touches the hearts of all those she meets, turning Prideaux into a magical, christmassy place. Join us as we make snowflakes and angels to decorate the party, but be on your best behaviour, our Lord and Lady are due any moment!
This is an outdoor, promenade performance through the beauty
and grandeur of Padstow’s Prideaux Place Gardens. With live and recorded music, a giant snow globe, angels, robins and snowflakes, Prideaux Angels is a captivating, moving and magical promenade performance for all ages to enjoy this winter.
This brand-new Christmas story has been created and directed by choreographer Simon Birch in collaboration with dancers: Emily Dobson (Freefall / Cscape), Anthony Middleton (MiddletonCorpus / Simon Birch Dance), Debbi Purtill (Ballet Lorent / Simon Birch Dance) and Isobel Slingerland (MiddletonCorpus / Simon Birch Dance). Plus, writer Kimberly Campanello, composers and performers Jon Hughes and Claire Ingleheart, and designer Myriddin Drualus Pharo.
WHAT WE SAY
We are SO excited to bring you this brand new Christmas show. Prideaux Place is the perfect setting and we can’t wait to sprinkle Christmas all over the gardens!
*and if you fancy eating before the show, why not pre-book one of these meals from Ed Stein.
